Poplar Springs Hospital is located in Petersburg, VA., 20 minutes south of Richmond and 50 minutes north of North Carolina. Situated on 25 acres, our serene, nature setting offers our patients a sense of calmness and peace. For more than 30 years, Poplar Springs Hospital has guided adolescents, adults and their loved ones on how to return to the community living healthier lives. Moreover, we are Virginia’s only civilian provider with an exclusive active duty military unit. We also are able to serve military dependents within our acute and TRICARE-certified residential services. Poplar Springs Hospital is mindful of the clinical requirements of the military and our other community partners which strengthens our outcomes.

- Adult acute services that include detoxification, dual diagnosis and psychiatric intervention

- Adolescent acute services (ages 11-17)
- Residential programs for sexually abusive youth as well as youth dealing with social, emotional and/or behavioral issues

- Full continuum of partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient programs
- Private day school and day treatment programs
- No cost assessment and referral services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- One of eight PSI Patriot Support Centers
